B.Sc. Nursing Course Types:

There are mainly two types of B.Sc. Nursing courses that students can choose as per their eligibility and interest in the nursing field. The eligibility criteria and admission process for both BSc Nursing courses vary with respect to colleges.

B.Sc Nursing : Eligibility Criteria

To apply to the B.Sc. Nursing program, candidates must meet a number of prerequisites. However, the prerequisites for the B.Sc. in Nursing vary from university to university. There are two levels of BSc Nursing: BSc Basic and BSc Post Basic. Candidates must have earned at least a 50% aggregate in PCB and English as their major subjects on their 12th board examinations.

Candidates should pass 10+2 in the PCB subject. Those who have passed 10+1 are also eligible for admission. The candidate must have obtained a certificate in general nursing and midwifery and be registered as an R.N.R.M. (Registered Nurse Registered Midwife) with the State Nurses Registration Council. Also, proof of training by Indian Nursing Council or equivalent is required in the following domains:

B.Sc Nursing : Admission Procedure

Admission to B.Sc. Nursing programs is solely determined by entrance tests, which are administered in April through June. Applicants have the option to complete the application form offline or online.

Candidates must visit the entrance exam’s website and complete the necessary fields in order to submit an online application. A printout of the completed form must then be removed.

The printout must be forwarded to the appropriate test body together with the required paperwork and a bank deposit of the designated amount. In order to submit an offline application, candidates must obtain the form and brochure from the organisation in charge of holding the test or from one of the approved locations.

BSc Nursing Application Process
